A digital immersion into Bulgarian national folklore and embroidery, created for a dedicated exhibition at the Ethnographic Museum. The piece, crafted by artist Rafaela Rafaelova, translates traditional embroidery techniques and symbolic patterns into a three-dimensional, volumetric experience.
Challenge
The primary challenge was to authentically represent the intricate, tactile nature of traditional embroidery within a virtual space, ensuring that the cultural symbolics remained recognizable while utilizing the novel medium of VR to add a new layer of depth.
