SIFF 2018: VR Cinema Hub & 'Spectator’s Ship' Premiere
Partnered with Sofia International Film Festival (SIFF) for the third consecutive year to create a dedicated VR Cinema Hub. The 2018 edition featured the premiere of the 360° documentary 'Spectator’s Ship,' offering festival-goers an immersive journey into the world of film. Using Samsung Gear VR headsets, we provided a high-quality, accessible virtual reality experience, solidifying the festival's reputation for innovation in media and entertainment.
Challenge
Traditional film festivals lacked the technical infrastructure to showcase 360° cinematic narratives, making it difficult for local pioneers to present experimental VR documentaries to a wide audience.
Outcome
Successfully introduced 300+ festival attendees to 360° documentary filmmaking.
