AR Menu | Augmented Reality Cuisine
VR Express built a specialised augmented-reality menu platform for restaurants and bars. Using WebAR and WebGL, guests view dishes and drinks as interactive 3D and AR content straight from their phone — no app install — with a desktop WebGL fallback, across Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari and other modern browsers. It supports both physical (in-venue) and online menus.
Challenge
Printed and static digital menus can't convey how a dish actually looks or the feel of a venue, leaving guests to choose blind and limiting how much a restaurant or bar can communicate about its offering.
Outcome
