Digital KidZ 2016: Immersive Education Showcase

A large-scale educational VR activation at the Digital KidZ forum, focused on shifting the methodology of modern education. Using four Oculus Rift DK2 stations, we provided teenagers and parents with immersive journeys through the solar system, the human circulatory system, and the historic Apollo 11 mission, demonstrating ICT as a key lever for creative thinking.

Challenge

Integrating cutting-edge technology into a youth forum while strictly managing age-appropriateness. The team had to balance intense demand from teenagers and high-profile interest from government ministers with the safety limits of VR for younger children.

Outcome

Successfully established VR as a viable educational tool for the Bulgarian NGO and government sector.
