VISA Amphitheatre: VR Art to AR Gift Card Experience
An artist created a masterpiece in VR using Google Tilt Brush, inspired by the amphitheater. This VR artwork was then transformed into a design for a physical gift card. At the event, attendees could use a custom AR app to point their phone at the gift card, bringing the VR artwork to life as an augmented reality animation.
Challenge
VISA wanted to create a unique, "phygital" (physical + digital) experience that merged art, history, and modern payment technology at a live event in Plovdiv's ancient amphitheater.
Outcome
The activation was a stunning success, beautifully blending ancient history with cutting-edge technology. It created a magical experience for attendees, reinforced VISA's brand as an innovator, and resulted in a highly desirable and shareable "phygital" souvenir.
